Celebration of 'World Entrepreneurs’ Day and Panel Discussion
World Entrepreneur’s Day was jointly celebrated by Suryadatta Institute of Management and Mass Communication (SIMMC) on Tuesday, 21st August 2018, in Radhakrishnan Hall. Four entrepreneurs, namely, Mr. Abhijit Gupta, Mr. Neeraj Kumar, Ms. Bhakti Kote and Ms. Bhagyashree Kote, were invited for the celebration and Panel Discussion.
Every year, August 21 is celebrated all over the world as World Entrepreneurs' Day. The purpose of the World Entrepreneurs' Day is to create awareness for entrepreneurship, innovation and leadership throughout the world. World Entrepreneurs' Day is the perfect day to admire the people who start a business. It is the day of founders, managers, producers, contractors, industrialists, innovators, administrators, designers and producers. AIBA, the Alliance of International Business Associations invites everyone to organize happenings around the world to promote this day. It is a great opportunity to push philanthropic, social and ethical business practices via conferences, awards and initiatives.
Mr. Neeraj Kumar, Managing Director, Namova Fabrics Pvt. Ltd., guided the students as to how to jump from an ordinary job to entrepreneurship with a brilliant business idea. He suggested that the educational institutions should host and organize; lectures, workshops and seminars focused on business practices and principles; highlight the value of entrepreneurship, the role of innovation within society and provide know-how to younger generations.
Mr. Abhijit Gupta, Vice President, Athena health, explained the students on the basis of his self experience as to how to convert an ordinary opportunity into a big business opportunity. He suggested organizing conferences, workshops and meetings regarding leadership, innovation, creativity, design, entrepreneurship and other related topics in order to promote entrepreneurial spirit among young students.
Ms. Bhakti Kote and Ms. Bhagyashri Kote, Co-Founder, HR Quest Consultants shared their valuable entrepreneurial experiences and encouraged the students to be entrepreneurs through patience, passion and perseverance. They suggested developing extensive networking for entrepreneurial promotion over a very vast geographical area.
Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, Teacher Par Excellence, whose birthday, September 5, is commemorated by the Nation as Teachers Day, assumes special significance at Suryadatta. Teachers Day is celebrated with great zeal at Suryadatta and its array of Institutes, in day-long meaningful, thought-provoking and entertaining programmes. Students felicitate teachers to display their gratitude on this day.
Womens Day Celebration

Educational & Cultural Exchanges
Several students from various parts of the World choose Pune as their preferred destination for higher management education. This students have chosen various colleges and institutions based on their qualification and preferences.
We have formed a Center for International students, the Suryadatta International Educational and Cultural Centre, SIECC where members of various International students associations come together and share a common platform for exchange of ideas and experiences. SIECC facilitates these foreign students to exchange cultures and also give an opportunity for Indian students to interact and understand a variety of ethnic and foreign culture
Suryadatta believes in maintaining a Secular environment and promote Value based education by celebrating festivals of each religion.
Students and faculty together celebrate Diwali, Holi, Eid, Christmas, Lohri, Ganesh festival, Navratri etc. Special programs such as Dandiya during Navratri, Diwali Sandhya during Diwali are organised by student committees. Such festival celebrations make Suryadatta students feel homely and also get to learn Values through ancient traditions of festivals
Women Empowerment - Self Help Group
Suryadatta Group of Institutes has organized multiple special programs for women empowerment. Thousands of women from the deprived class of society are benefitted by it, by being financially independent. Some of the programs organized by Suryadatta for women are ' Tailoring & Fashion Designing', 'Making of 36 types of Spices', ' Jam & Jelly making classes', 'Jewellery Designing classes, Basic IT Classes, Health Checkup Camps, for women of rural areas etc. These programs have proven as a blessing for the women as many of them have formed the self-help groups or have become individual entrepreneur. Suryadatta organized full day workshop with practical on Bakery for women. The response to the workshop was highly encouraging and 20 women got detailed training on baking of cookies, bread & cakes of different types.
