Professor Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya, Founder President and Chairman and Mrs. Sushama S. Chordiya, Vice President of Suryadatta Education Foundation have been conferred with 'Savitri-Jyoti' Award by Rashtriya Bandhuta Sahitya Parishad, Rayat Shikshan Sanstha's Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar College.

SIMMC ranked under platinum category by AICTE–CII Survey for 6 Consecutive Years
Pune: City based Suryadatta Group’s two institutes, which is Suryadatta Institute of Management & Mass Communication (SIMMC) & Suryadatta Institute of Business Management & Technology figures amongst the Top Management Institutions in India and also ranked under Platinum Category by AICTE–CII Survey of Industry-Linked Technical Institutes 2020. SIMMC won the coveted ranking for 6 consecutive years, while SIBMT applied first time for ranking and it is ranked under platinum category. Along with Suryadatta, College of Engineering Pune, Department of Management and Marathawada Mitra Mandal College of Pharmacy and other 53 institutes from Maharashtra ranked under this category.
Recently, the results of the ninteenth edition of AICTE-CII Survey of Top Industry-Linked Technical Institutes 2020 were announced at the CII Education Summit held virtually. Initiated in 2012 by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the IndPact Survey is an objective source of information with the core being the industry – academia collaboration that exists. The first survey in 2012 focused only on engineering institutes approved by AICTE. Year 2013 witnessed the expansion of scope to include four major streams of study, viz engineering, management, pharmacy and architecture/planning.

He said that, SIMMC is one of the very few institutes in India who have been ranked in Platinum category for the consecutively 6th years. About AICTE-CII Servy:
The AICTE - CII Survey on industry linkages of technical institutes is a one-of-its-kind survey which is implemented by industry association CII in close coordination with AICTE. It is a unique model of a public-private partnership which has been working very well for the past eight years. The insights which this survey brings are not available in any other survey or ranking exercise in this country. The evaluation parameters include Governance 10%, Curriculum 20%, Faculty 20%, Infrastructure 10%, Services / Projects & Skill Development 20%, Placements 20%.
This survey, which has been developed by CII in close consultation and coordination with AICTE, serves a unique purpose of mapping the industry linkages of institutes. From that perspective, its objective is different from that of the government ranking which is meant to inform parents about the performance of institutes. The purpose of this survey is to inform industry about best institutes to scout talent from. The highest category of award is the Platinum category. ISRO President Dr. K. Sivan awarded 'Surya Bhushan International Award'
Pune: Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) President Dr. K. Sivan was awarded with the 'Surya Bhushan International Award' by Suryadatta Group of Institutes. Recently, a delegation headed by Prof. Dr. Sanjay Chordia, Founder President of Suryadatta, visited ISRO's Bangalore headquarters and honored Dr. K. Sivan. Dr. Chordia along with Prof. Sunil Dhadiwal, Director & Siddhant Chordia, EDO at Suryadatta Group presented this award to Dr. Sivan.
A delegation was overwhelmed after listening to Dr. Sivan and his memories with ISRO. Dr. Chordia invited him for the inauguration ceremony of Suryadatta Institute of Scientific Research (SISR) on the occasion of the 23rd foundation day of 'Suryadatta'. Dr. Sivan accepted it respectfully and committed to grace the function in February 2021.
Prof. Dr. Sanjay Chordia said, “It is a great pleasure to visit ISRO, a world renowned space research center. The Suryadatta family feel proud to honor Dr. Sivan and interact with him. His valuable guidance is inspiring to us. Suryadatta has a tradition of providing holistic development and quality education to the students. We carry out a number of activities to create interest in science for school children.
Further he said that Innovative thinking and research abilities are encouraged among the students. Various activities are carried out to awaken the scientific developments taking place in the society. State level science projects, scientific exhibitions and many other competitions are organized in Bawadhan Campus of Suryadatta.
During the visit, the Suryadatta delegation was shown the ISRO Heritage Centre & Museum. The delegation was thrilled to understand the heritage, the humble beginning of ISRO from a small shed and the subsequent developments which have created a history. The museum also displays information on the legendary leaders of ISRO including Dr. Vikram Sarabhai, Prof. Satish Dhawan, Dr. Krishnaswamy Kasturirangan, Dr. A S Kiran Kumar and more, who with their vision, made ISRO an organisation of international repute.
The Suryadatta team was also shown the museum on development of application specific satellite products and tools for the Nation for broadcasts, communications, weather forecasts, disaster management tools, Geographic Information Systems, cartography, navigation, telemedicine, dedicated distance education satellites etc.

Brands Academy, one of India’s leading Brand Management and Consulting Companies, organized Brands Academy Education Excellence Awards Ceremony on March 31st to felicitate India’s leading autonomous and private educational institutions that have displayed exemplary excellence as education providers to the young generation of India. The awards were based on a comprehensive market research study and opinion surveys conducted by BIG Research, one of the top market research agencies in India. Dr. Shashi Tharoor was the chief guest at the gala ceremony and gave away the award certificates and trophies to the winners, which included prominent universities, colleges and institutes from all across India.
India International Achievers Award
Indian Achievers Forum in association with INDIA THAI CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, THAILAND, had organized an India International Achievers Summit on “ The Indo – Thai Business Relations focusing on the business opportunities between India and Thailand, which created a platform for exploring business opportunities amidst Indian manufacturers and exporters.
During this forum, outstanding Indian and Thai dignitaries who have taken a lead in delivering quality service and contemporary achievements were honored. Prof. Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya was honored for his outstanding contribution in the field of Education. H.E. Khun Korn Dabbaransi – Ex. Dy Prime Minister of Thailand was present for the forum as a Chief Guest. It is indeed an achievement to be honored in such forums arranged by Chamber of Commerce of some different nation.
Bhaskar Award 2011
The prestigious Bhaskar Award 2011 has been conferred upon Prof. Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya, Founder President & Chairman Suryadatta Group of Institutes for excellence in the field of growth of education by Maharashtra Journalist Foundation. The award was presented to Prof. Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya in a ceremony held in Goa on May 28 by Shri Digambar Kamat, Chief Minister of Goa who was the chief guest for the programme. Other prominent recipients of the award include stalwarts like Pandit Hrudaynath Mangeshkar, Sindhutai Sapkal, Radha Mangeshkar etc..
On receiving the award, an elated Prof. Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya expressed the desire to work even harder in the field of education.

Prof. Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya was bestowed with the International Education Excellence Award. He received the Award from the Consulate General of Thailand and the Chairman, Delta Corporation during the International Achievers Summit, Singapore, on November 31,2009 held by the Economic Development Forum. This Award was give in recognition of Dr. Chordiya’s distinguished services to the field of Quality Professional Education.
Swami Vivekananda National Award
Prof. Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya, was presented the Swami Vivekanada National Award 2007, by Dr. Karan Singh, for his valuable contribution to socially relevant programmes such as Environment awareness, AIDS awareness, Polio Eradication, Bone Density Measurement for Women, Drinking Water schemes and Computer Literacy for Orphans and Senior Citizens in rural and urban areas.
AIMA Fellowship
Prof. Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya, Founder President & Chairman of Suryadatta Group of Institutes, has been conferred fellowship by Mr. R. Gopalakrishnan, President, All India Management Association (AIMA) in the presence of Honorable Shri. Arjun Singh, the then Union Minister of HRD, Govt. of India for his valuable contribution to the Management Fields. Interestingly, Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya is the youngest member of AIMA to receive the fellowship.

Prof. Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya was felicitated by Hon’ble Shri P. C. Alexander, the then Governor of Maharashtra, for his yeoman services for his socially important services towards the cause of the visually impaired on the occasion of the foundation stone laying ceremony, at the Desai Eye Hospital, for Pune Blind Mens Association.
