Ans : The career development cell provides value addition round the clock, besides rigorous academic sessions through Industrial Visits, Guest Lectures, Seminars and Conferences. Extensive Industry Interface and Knowledge Management activities develops the required skill sets and industriousness.

This has led to National and multinational organizations selecting Suryadatta students through Campus Recruitment Programs. The career Development cell is driven by students and placement coordinators. Suryadatta alumni regular meets and also accelerate the process. Students get the placement based on their academics, communication skills, presentation skills and performance in the selection process.

Q. a) Program Subject Areas?

Ans :

  1. Mandatory  : Common  Subjects – 30
  2. Electives : Specialization Subjects : 12 subjects of each specialization; i.e. 24 subjects of both the specializations.
  3. Projects : 3 internal projects during every semester, in addition to 2 external  projects of 8-10  weeks = total 5 projects
 

b)  Program Expense Related?

  1. Course Fees: Rs. 1,90,000/- per annum, including Laptop + Books + Journals and all other on academic expenses & value add on expenses.

  2. Additional Expenses (Boarding, etc.) : Approx. Rs. 50,000/- per year towards as accommodation and Food

  3. Loans : Suryadatta has nation wide strong tie-ups with Nationalized banks such as State Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Corporation Bank, Punjab National Bank, Bank of India and Private banks such as HDFC Bank, Axis Bank and IDBI Bank.  On completion of the Selection  procedure, students can avail of educational loan and from their native places. Suryadatta students are also availing of education loan from various other nationalized banks such as Alalhabad bank, Bank of Baroda, Syndicate Bank, UCO Bank etc. from their native places.

 

c) Admission Pre-requisites?

  1. Application Fees (Amount) : Rs. 1,000/- for Prospectus, Admission Form, and attending GD/PI

  2. Eligibility (Qualifying examination and percentage marks) : 50 % marks ( final year students awaiting results may also apply) in Graduation with 50 percentile in any one of the National Level Entrance tests. Followed by GD/PI + Essay writing, weight age given  for working professionals.

  3. Written Test (Name the test) : CAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA/ state – CET


  4. GDs & Interview (Brief outline of GDs & Interview process): Eligible students can appear for GD/PI conducted by the Institute at different locations across the country.  Various current topics are included for GD where students are evaluated based on their communication, presentation, participation skills and based on overall performance  Personal Interview is generally conducted by experts and senior officials of the Institute.

d) Important Dates?

  1. Application Available (From date) : 4th April, 2011 onwards.
  2. Date of GD / PI, counseling and Admission Schedule at various locations : 4th April, 2011 Onwards (Refer Website)
  3. Submission of Fees : On receipt of selection letter, students are directed to deposit registration amount of Rs. 40,000/- (part of fees) within 10 days of date of selection and balance fees within one month from the date of registration.
